BH25 6RS
30 June 2016
4pm - 6pm
Book your place via Christine Chaloner.
Event Focus...
Join us for a session that starts off by looking at students’ early ideas about energy. We’ll then develop ideas of energy conservation, energy changes in systems, thermal processes and energy resources. We’ll look at the use of sketch graphs to stimulate higher level thinking and ownership of practical work. We’ll also do some experiments, including ice on blocks and investigations into conduction, convection and radiation.
Grab a free bag of resources, including a bouncing toy that at first glance seems to break the law of conservation of energy!
