Ever Wondered Why?
Stimulating Physics Network Schools, receiving support from a Teaching and Learning Coach, also have the opportunity to receive the Ever Wondered Why? Roadshow. The Ever Wondered Why? Roadshow, delivered by the Teaching and Learning Coaches offers a programme of stimulating, engaging and interactive sessions to two different year groups (KS3, 4 or 5) per visit. Each session can be adapted to meet the needs of each school.. Designed to enthuse students about physics and the world around them, the shows work with group sizes of 50–600. The show covers a range of topics, from the size of the universe to optical illusions, and low-temperature physics to how CERN works – all with the aim of persuading pupils that physics is an important and valuable part of what they study at school and beyond.
